well lets start with a few simple facts

horses and ponies are different because of their hight horses are measured in hands and so are ponies but the reason they are different is because any pony taller than 14 hands or taller it is officialy a horse!

horses come in many different colors bay(a brown coat with a black mane and tail), chestnut (a reddish brown color all over), black(black all over) ,palomino(a golden coat with a pale mane and tale), dun(a pale brown coat with a black mane and tail), pinto (Large spots over white and dark natural colors), gray (white or gray all over), and appolosa(a doted coat covering the intire body with spots that are natural coors).
